This sketchbook is made from the finest responsibly-sourced leather & papers. This design has been crafted based on the specifications used by the artist Robert E. Wells. The price includes the option of having personalised, stamped initials. Robert E. Wells is a Yorkshire-born artist, known for his cityscape paintings as well as rural landscapes and figurative works. A member of the New English Art Club (NEAC) and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), he regularly exhibits his work in solo shows, mainly in the UK. Robert uses sketchbooks and journals as part of his creative process, and has personally endorsed a range of leather accessories made to the precise specifications of his own equipment. Technical description
The product is made from responsibly sourced black leather, which has a thickness of 1.8 – 2.0 mm. Both the sketchbook and the one piece strap have been crafted from this material. The item has been hand stitched using waxed cotton thread. The dimensions of the paper for this journal are: 14cm (height) X 14cm (length). This paper is hot pressed and smooth, and has been sourced from one of the finest Italian paper mills. The dimensions of the journal are: 14.6cm (height) X 15.5cm (length) X 3.3cm (width). The weight of the journal is 394 grams. Whilst every attempt has been made to be as accurate as possible, there may be slight variations in size and weight due to the individuality of each product. Any slight blemishes are attributed to the fact the product is organic, and is not classified as a fault.
