In this book, Robert E. Wells NEAC RBA shares his experience spanning his early interest in architecture to the more fluid forms of recent figurative art. In recent years, his work has seen a shift from architecture to include more figurative elements, with complex multi-layered narratives, whilst retaining a freedom in paint application. Robert E. Wells is a Yorkshire born artist known for his cityscape paintings, rural landscapes and figurative works. He studied at University in London and has a Masters Degree in The Illustration and Rendering of Architectural Spaces. He finds inspiration in the unusual aspects of everyday life, encouraging the viewer to create their own narrative interpretation of his often ambiguous and sometimes conflicting imagery.
